Artelier is a 2-storey centre for visual art located at 10007 80 Avenue. The new studios are run by The Paint Spot, a locally owned art materials shop located one block north at 10032 81 Avenue. The Artelier is a versatile space used for classroom space, collaborative workspaces and studio rentals.
Daily rentals start at $50. The calendar fills quickly so plan about 3 to 4 months ahead. The main floor is primarily booked for workshops and art classes run by The Paint Spot.
The open lobby area has plenty of north-facing windows for natural light. It includes a front counter space and
desk area, leather couches, a waterfall and two large presentation and working tables. It’s ideal for pop-up exhibitions and small art talks. Anyone needing a large space for a personal one-day project will find this space bright, open and inspiring.

This is a large classroom space with a garage door. The lighting is bright and there is one bathroom. It is well equipped for a range of art workshops. This is the room where we host our live figure drawing classes.

This room contains a long counter, double kitchen sink, microwave, and large fridge. The table and chairs may
be configured into several types of workshop layouts, such as 8 to 12 student for a hands-on workshop; Capacity of 36 for lecture or demonstration.
Every space is furnished with a desk and great lighting. The advantage of these studios is the large flexible
common area. Monthly rent between $400-$500.

This is a large open area on the second floor. It is a great meeting space for art groups, societies and committees.
Wall spaces and grid wall are available for pop-up art exhibitions. The rental is only $20 for 3 hours.
