Arts Habitat Edmonton welcomes Chelsea Boos as Community Programmer
Arts Habitat Edmonton is pleased to announce that Chelsea Boos is joining us as Community Programmer.
Chelsea is a multidisciplinary artist and designer born in Edmonton, Alberta where she completed a Bachelor of Design at the University of Alberta in 2006. Chelsea has experience running a cowork and exhibition space for emerging cultural producers as the Cofounder and Director of The Drawing Room Studios and Salon. She also produces socially engaged art projects at the intersection of heritage, community and urban geography. Chelsea has been instrumental in such projects as the LIVINGbridge and the Colour Alley project – both were winners of an Edmonton Urban Design Award in 2011. Avenue Magazine named Chelsea as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in 2014.
